Diplomacy Is Not An Option is a strategy game in which you build and manage your own castle. The game was developed and published by Door 407 in February 2022, and it has received favourable reviews from both players and critics.
Story
As your impetuous king's favourite feudal lord, you are now in charge of conquering unknown lands. The responsibility to build your settlement, gather important resources and defend your castle lies with you. Do not disappoint your greedy king and beware of unfriendly locals and deadly beasts in this truly medieval world!

The war has started, and your people are now in danger. Do you think the problem can be resolved peacefully? No, it looks like Diplomacy Is Not An Option!
Constant War
In this tower defense Diplomacy game, you are put in the most dangerous situation of all time: war. As a feudal lord you have to win and do not let anyone conquest you! Defend your lands from the bloodthirsty peasants, rebellions and its power-hungry leaders. Restore stability within your castle walls and come up with your own war strategy. After all, the king has to show his subordinates that his brutal reign benefits the entire kingdom.
Combat psychics
Think twice before choosing the location for your archers and siege engines as they will not hit the target without clear trajectory. Be in command of hundreds upon hundreds of knights. Take a look at enemy units and decide where to hit to hurt the most. Maybe you should put your archers and catapults on some kind of elevation? Consider it your choice, but they will do no good when killing your own men. Think about a retreat plan and fall-back positions. Everything is up to you but remember if you lose it will be your failure, but if you win, it will be your kingdom's victory!
Not everything is about war
Manage your people within the castle walls as you do not want your knights to die out of hunger. Manage housing, food, diseases and care for your people. The war is one thing, but when a plague ravages your entire settlement, there will be no strong men to put on the battlefield!
A little bit of magic
As more and more dangerous enemies besiege your castle, there is something that can aid your exhausted knights in the battle. Use special abilities to destroy loads of enemies at one blow. Strike a meteor at your adversaries, or send divine rays that will scythe a path of devastation through the attacking army.
